I agree. I've never put anyone on ignore on SI. As for the extreme bigots, I always hope that perhaps there is some humanity there and I'd prefer to see what they post. Those who ignored extremists throughout history tended to be their next victims. We can't just go about our business ignoring something as if it only affects "someone else." As you suggest, I actually enjoy some of the Duranged posts, often wondering how seemingly intelligent individuals can come up with some of the logic and theories, which they espouse. I actually use SI more for the financial threads and like to see what the bashers or pumpers say even if I think they are attempting to manipulate. There is one person that I basically ignore here but it's mentally done, i.e. I just ignore the post. I've tried to read them but there is too many and the posts are usually devoid of thought. X basically posts lots of material in violation of TOU and copyright and then has a hissy fit if you challenge with something contra. Will call someone a bigot if you challenge bigots, etc. But again, it's a question of humanity and logic and I always hope for change.
