"In the last ten years, Israel has done little to promote the peace" It's kind of hard when you have religious fanatics sending their young in to kill innocents. Why is it that you start the history between the Israelis and Palestinians at the point when Palestinians suicide bomb? The history between the Israelis and Palestinians started much earlier.....decades earlier. Suicide bombings are the result of years of frustration and Israeli repression. "Only extremists like Hamas want to destroy Israel:Only extremists like Hamas want to destroy Israel" The the Palestinian population should reject them. They don't. And it is costing them their future (and their young). That's where the Hamas are smart.......they are much more than a para military org. They provide the Palestinians medical help, food and clothing. Important stuff to people who are dirt poor and have no future. "Most Palestinians just want to have their own state." Then they should reject terrorism. It would work wonders for them. What about all those decades when there was no terrorism. Why didn't Israel allow the Palestinians their own state back then? Why did Israel start building settlements in the WB and Gaza as early as the early 80s? You're whole story that the Israelis are the poor, innocent victims and the Palestinians as the evil ones doesn't hold up under close scrutiny. "How come we don't "support" Britain or Germany or other first world countries." If they were being attacked by those with the goal of eliminating them, you bet your ass we would. At least with Britian. France and Germany may be in trouble with their anti-Americanism. Another lunatic.......time to end this post. Pretty short on specifics. If you are going to change any minds you have to support your views with more than this. The sooner the radical and uncivilized terrorists learn that their tactics are counter productive in the modern world the sooner we can all live in peace. Educate the women, teach other than hatred of others, progress for God's sake. It is not everybody else's fault they are in this situation, and they should look within to improve life for themselves and the rest of the world. If you had an open mind, you might learn something.......but you made your decision long ago and your bias is firmly in place.
