Interesting links but I was hoping for something more specific to back up your theory. I am not aware of any support in the biblical texts; are you? I was sorry I missed the PBS special but most of the specials dealing with the historical Jesus that I have seen are very lob sided and tend to be filled with unsubstantiated statements. If what we know about Jesus is primarily contained in the NT documents then theories that contradict these documents must have more than bare assertions to overturn them.
