[ML on NTT deal] Investment Highlights: ú Industry sources indicate that NTT, a major telecom service provider in Japan, has awarded Ascend a multi-year contract with a potential value of several hundred million dollars. ú We believe that the contract includes frame relay switches and ATM switches, which will be used for the build-out of an Internet network. ú We expect this contract to contribute modest revenues in the September quarter.
