Kerry and his wife have no role or special influence in the management of Heinz. In fact, no Heinz family members at all have any role anymore, just some stock. Theresa co-chairs the charitable foundation named after her late husband. That is where the Heinz name comes from in terms of her financial interests. The Heinz corporation released a statement stating all this. They have been unfairly attacked by the rightwing and they want to set the record straight.

PS: Kerry's plan is to reward companies that create jobs in the US and put a price on exporting jobs. This would pertain to all corporations, no exceptions.
