It's white. The mechanic thought I was crazy, but I painted the engine compartment silver when everything was out. It was a little scary looking when I first did it, but it looked pretty good after he put everything back in. The original color was Tahitian Red, which as basically a reddish brown. I didn't paint it white, but did want to get the reddish brown out of the engine compartment. The interior is still the Tahitian Red that I don't care for. I'll either go white or metallic silver/gray, but I'm leaning toward the white.
