How can Arafat and the Palestinians achieve peace when certain radical Palestinians insist on their own agenda?

Arafat doesn't control them and doesn't try. He uses the radicals to further his own political agendas. Kind of like the good cop and bad cop routine.

The main thing holding up peace in the region are security concerns.

BTW, I notice you and Emile are still avoiding the issue of Syrian and Palestinian textbooks. Why?

I guess I'll have to start posting some choice quotes from those publications.
