NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Ethan Allen Interiors (ETH) said it's planning to close two wood case goods furniture manufacturing plants, impacting about 500 jobs. The maker and retailer of home furnishings said it expects to book a pre-tax charge of $12.5 to $13.5 million, or 20 to 22 cents a share, most of it non-cash. The bulk of the charge will be booked in the fiscal fourth quarter to end June. Ethan Allen is planning that most of the production from the plants which are located at Boonville, New York and Bridgewater, Virginia, will be carried out at other facilities.
