Found another one showing up called JS SPAWN.B - at least this one is cleanable. Got this description on them both: QUICK LINKS Solution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Virus type: JavaScript Destructive: No Aliases: Trojan.JS.Offiz Pattern file needed: 547 (1.547.00)OPR Scan engine needed: 5.200 Overall risk rating: Very Low -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reported infections: Low Damage Potential: Low Distribution Potential: Low -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Upon execution, this JavaScript malware opens a Macromedia (.SWF) file that is verified to be non-malicious. It also hooks the buttons: F4, ALT, CTRL and DEL. When any of these buttons are pressed, it displays a message box with the following text strings: “You are an Idiot!” When this browser window is closed, it reopens six other browsers with the same routine. She claims she went to some site that said "you are an idiot" months ago. Maybe I have had this thing on the computer all this time and it is totally unrelated to the problems yesterday.
