I thought about posting this on Rambi- but I didn't think it was a good fit. I've been sorting my parents' papers tonight- I found all my father's letters home from WWII. Amazing stuff- I found a bunch of V-mail (the little miniaturized letters sent during the end of WW II). My father had written to his parents detailing all his travels in the pacific- after censorship was lifted. I always wanted a complete record of what he had done, but he never wanted to talk about it- so it was so neat to find these letters that I never even knew existed. I have pictures of the airplanes he flew in, and the men he served with.
