Raymond, Alan Greenspan double speaks. Therefore if we can overlook his testimony it would be nice. I wonder who writes his speech anyway. Maybe George Bush can send one of his speechwriters to teach him how to convey a clear message. He might double speak saying something in the line, "...given the current ecomonic environment, Fed can’t ignore the challenge they face to curb the inflationary pressure...” etc. Basically one can read into anything one likes from his speech. Also, I am Buddhist and therefore I condemn the recent Israeli attack on political leader Rantisi. Moreover, what’s up with Gaddafi and WMD? He has been the greatest ally for US government for the last 20-30 years. How many US presidents was that? He has been providing safe heaven for terrorist acts committed for the US and other countries during that time. It had been known to the international community for too long and he just wanted to acknowledge. At this old age, he might die any day and he might just wanted to come clean. I think US should provide a citizenship and set him up in the US. Cheers, S
