Bush: "I was praying for strength to do the Lord's will"

"...in my case I pray that I be as good a messenger of His will as possible."

Well, to me, it's pretty apparent he failed....
and failed miserably, given the disasters he has spawned.

To me, having faith doesn't absolve you from using your
brain...ESPECIALLY in the job he's got. But it's clear
Bush doesn't feel or act that way. To him faith is a
substitute for having to think through what he's about to
do...no need to do any of the hard thinking. The CBS
60 minutes interview with Bob Woodward shined a very
bright light on just how bad the decision making process
is in the Oval Office. Bush didn't even consult his cabinet,
or seek a variety of opinions. I guess that's what they
teach you at Harvard Business School, back when Bush got
his MBA.

Bush, and his administration are incredibly dysfunctional.

To all the corporate chieftains who load his campaign
coffers with all that money - it's ironic that they'd love
him to run this country for 4 more years, but I'll bet
very few of them would want him to run a key division or
subsidiary for them, where he would have to make all the
operational decisions.

Peter.
