Watch List Stocks-Activity for April 19

SSTI-Recently mentioned (Watch List Report for 4/12), it backed up to the creek and closed in the upper half of it's spread on Friday on good volume. The absorption of supply offered the likelihood of further upside progress which was confirmed by the action today. Additional evidence included the ability to hold above the half way point off the lows in late March. The target of $19 offered the short term speculator a possible profit in excess of 20% if they entered anytime prior to noontime yesterday. A stop placed below Friday's low offered the required 3-1 ratio that we desire.

YHOO-Mentioned on Sunday 4/11, appears to be making the attempt to reach it's next target of $59. The ability of demand to control the action on the mornings of 14th and the 16th, as well as yesterday afternoon and the inability of supply to push prices down towards the creek offered speculators some evidence that adding to positions or taking new positions could be considered. Short term speculators targeting $59 and buying in the $54 vicinity could set their stops below the $53 1/2 area. This would provide a potential profit of 10% and a risk/reward ratio of 3-1. Intermediate or longer term speculators would be targeting the $79 level and attempting for a gain in excess well in excess of 50% so would be setting their stops much lower.
