Viisage's continued participation in this project comes as a result of an extension granted by the DoD to Unisys Corp (UIS) and underscores the co's expanding footprint in the federal marketplace. For the second phase of this multi-stage project, Viisage's face recognition technology will serve as the foundation for developing real-world applications of 3D face recognition identity solutions.
