1) Who are these enemies that you speak of? So far the only people who have attacked us are Al Qaeda.

I would call all the Muslim terrorists who have been attacking American targets for several decades. Most of them today seem to be affiliated with AQ one way or another.

(2) Why do you believe that they will be less likely to attack us if we stay in Iraq? ... versus pulling out of Iraq under fire? It ought to be obvious that a retreat under fire would encourage our enemies to attack us. Even Kerry understands this.

Of course, fighting our enemies doesn't guarantee we won't be attacked. There is no way to guarantee that except total victory.
