Blaming Israel for everything is just another bigoted path that has been followed throughout history.

There is very little evidence that the war in Iraq was fought for Israel. Yes, Israelis, and almost all civilized peoples, celebrated the toppling of Saddam Hussein.

As you point out, Iraq was not a real threat to Israel. In fact, Israel has been stopped over the years by the US in following up with its successful bombing of the Iraqi nuclear plant.

The biggest beneficiaries have been Iraq's neighbors, even though they cannot politically admit this. Saudi Arabia, with its historic ties to the US and specifically the Bush family, was probably the primary beneficiary. The Woodward book continues to show this pattern.
