The generation part of the dam had not been used for years. I can under stand if it can't meet their full need for power. I still would have thought it would pay enough in power to pay to maintain it and cut power cost but I'm either wrong or they don't want the problems that go with it.I'm sure insurance alone must have been pretty high.

Now that the town owns it I am sure it will never generate power again. Too bad.
