From what I've heard, it appears to be illegal. However, I'm sure that it could be spun to make it ok, under some broad authorization to fight terrorism; that's the first spin I've heard. Legal/illegal doesn't matter anymore. What's done is done. Impeachment will never happen as long as the R's hold Congress.It's up to us.
