James .. are the specifications and/or driver source code available for the card he talks about? manufacturers often tell MS how to write drivers but refuse to disclose the information publicly (for competitive reasons etc). This is likely the reason (that OSS developers refuse to sign an NDA, say) there is no support for certain hardware. In other words, its the lack of openness among hardware producers that is the reason for all his bragging.
