Today the XAU broke through the ice today on increased spread, closing at its lows on higher volume. As mentioned on April 13, new shorts should have been initiated on the weak rally up from the close of April 12. This was exactly what happened. New short positions should be considered only if there is a backup to the ice level that was penetrated today. Reviewing the message (#8) offers targets for the XAU.
