I think he knew he was totally losing credibility on this inflation denial BS, too many people asking questions. Even so, what he said was bogus too, he tried to slip it in quietly if you watch the reruns: "we are seeing pricing power, deflation is no longer an issue". Duh! Man, if that shocks the markets, wait until the cognescenti finally figure out what's really going on with inflation. I kept my ED shorts, to hedge the PM names I'm now getting clobbered on. So yes, even I have gotten hit some on all this endless moral hazard parade. Was just too hard being only short in the face of it. I already lightened up most of my energies. Great day to be short however, I'll take more of this. What a wild market though, underestimated the impact of "just talk" on metals stocks that had already corrected. Message 20045124
