Yes, we used nukes in our war, as Saddam used WMD in his war. I think that the decision to use the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which I have extensively researched, were sound and ultimately saved lives, both American and Japanese... Actually, post-war analysis showed that Japan was about to surrender anyway. The debate is whether or not Truman knew it before bombing. Tom
