Thomas is a good case in point for civil liberties.

When I'm talking to my friends about the ACLU I always mention that the ACLU defends Nazi's and KKK people's right to say what ever crap they want.

Sometimes the Liberals don't get it.

I point out to them that American's usually can see through the hateful crap if it is exposed.

Guys like Thomas and cyberken make my points for me.

I think most rational people here can see I didn't lie, that it was a question of semantics. So Thomas's emotional twisting of the facts actually works for me. I'm content to point out what seems rational to me.

So let me restate my position: both Clinton and Bush had terrible, disastrous energy policies, which weakened our financial stability, damaged our ability to compete and strengthened the very people we should not strengthen.
