They are not nations, but they represent the Palestinians. "However, Israel is disputing Palestine's right to exist" I believe they made an offer during Clinton's term (rejected by arafat), and I also beleive that they have bought on to the "road map". But that can't get going because the Palestinians are lead by men committed to murdering innocents. They will NEVER win with that strategy, nor do they deserve to. "Palestinians turned to Hamas because playing it smart or right was getting them no where" You'll have to provide examples of them "playing it smart". I haven't seen that. "So you're saying that because Israel got attacked by Syria or Egypt in 1967..." And Jordan I believe. With the Palestinians clearing the way. That must have been humiliating to the Arab world. "that justifies them building new towns on land that was supposed to be for Palestinians" Yes. Makes sense to me. Have a physical presence in the buffer zone. Otherwise, what stops them from doing it again? Aside from the probability of getting humiliated again.
