If the PA leadership refuses to negotiate for peace and pursues exclusively a course of violence to achieve its goal (the destruction of Israel or what I don't know), what options does that open for Israel?

Of course, the Palestinians agreed to compromise with Israel 3 decades ago (1976). To this day, Israel can have its land and full recognition (from the other Arab countries, as well), and full peace treaties. At the drop of a hat. All Israel has to do is renounce its desire to annex the West Bank and Gaza. That's all.
