Evasion will get you nowhere. You said "Actually I intend to vote for the only candidate who doesn't claim to be God's avenging angel. "
I said "Do not let any one claim to be a true American if they ever attempt to remove religion from politics." Would you vote for a man who said THAT? You never answered.
Yes, this is a trap.
You want a guy who has committed himself to prosecuting what appears to be a new Vietnam to actually be able to do it? Kerry HAS said he intends to continue the war as long as necessary, right?
As for your second, you, like myself, believe Afghanistan to have been necessary and Iraq to have been a mistake. Meanwhile, Kerry earned the right (more than most!) to question the Vietnam war. You think Iraq will be the ONLY serious challenge the peacenik will face? We should be so lucky. As soon as the terrorists figure out they can do as they please with no consequences (ie., immediately), they will be ALL OVER US.
Tell me again how George has made things so much more dangerous. How many repeat attacks have we had since 911?
The Japanese, not surprisingly, figured this out. When the terrorists tried to blackmail them, they told them to shove it. Unlikely Spain will be so lucky. There has already been one attempt since that first bombing.
Bush has already squandered the goodwill of the our allies after 9/11. You mean like the French and Russians who resented having their bribes from Saddam disrupted?
. Yet with the types of weapons that can now be assembled on a kitchen table, the world is too small for all this cowboy shit. So you will willingly hand control of the planet over to a body of nothings and nobodies, half of whose members represent dictatorships? This is your solution? Really?
God help us and the next generation regardless. Or maybe not. If the Islamic terrorist strike at this country again as they did on 911, there will be H*** to pay and most countries will back us. And if they are idiotic enough to try a "Spain" on us, it will blow up in their faces. They will get Bush back and war to follow.
there is always the write-in slot! Libertarian. My preferred "None of the Above" vote. |
