We'll see how it unfolds. As for trust, I don't trust Bush. He keeps doing harmful things to the country. He needs to be purged...and hopefully the voters will do that this November.

Right now it's too early to tell. Kerry doesn't have a running mate. The right selection could be good for 3 or 4 points. And Bush just finished up spending $50 million on negative (lying) ads. The intelligence quotient of the average American is not too high...so they will believe those ads. And Bush speaks to the lower common denominator...slipping deeper and deeper into that Texas drawl when he's really trying to get the point across.

Bush has that common man appeal, as Kerry speaks on a more intelligent level. You have to pay attention to get it. It's like listening to the Supreme Court oral arguments on C-Span. Most common folks can't follow that kind of in depth logic...drives them right straight to a six pack. This is to Kerry's detriment. He needs to dumb it down some.

I used to think Gore was a bit dry too. Speaking in that slow deliberate southern voice. He never quite got to a drawl, like W does...but he'd put me to sleep. I finally figured out that he wasn't talking to me.
