"If you know of so many actual ancient historians who believe that Jesus did not exist then why don't you just cite them?????????"

An interesting case-study for how we discover the truth of claims and verifying historical events for you to consider , which involves the question of who burned the largest library in the known world at Alexandria, Egypt. You'll find all this so called "biblical scholarship & scholars " conveniently at a complete loss for identfying the culprits of this one monumental event in history, let alone the historicity of a man that taught for only 2yrs in a tiny 25mile radius of northern Galilee. Does that make you wonder at all about such scholarship having any validity at all? This Library existed for almost 1000yrs .

Here you have the Catholic mother Church version , and no mention of Christian mob's culpability later when under Theodosius had so many pagan temples including one in Alexandria were destroyed in the empire ...how geniune is this that they conveniently skip over that period of Theodosius and his Taliban Christians ? hmmmm?

Such a lamentable sorry excuse for "scholarship"....the truth is that the Christians burned it .

But let's blame it on Ceasar ...or the Moslems 700yrs later ! Now this is as blatant a piece of slanted "scholarship" that one could ever hope to find in the interpretation of this great loss to the entire world . The Christians could never have done an act so dastardly as to burn the greatest library the world had ever known . Hardly an event to go unnoticed , unless we consider who was burning all the books and temples of that time.<G>

ahem....all one can really say to that "scholarship " you worship so much here Greg --->is it is mostly complete rubbish when it comes to actual history. This includes Jesus and the rest of the myths and legends that were used by emperors priests and popes to control the masses.

But they were only books & scrolls...
