Credits for the poor?

Seriously, there is not that much you can write off of your income. The mortgage interest is by far the biggest. There is charity, your state taxes and a few others. If you run a business there is a lot more stuff, but if they are business expenses, they are legit. If they are not, you are breaking the law.

What bugs me, and is the main reason I posted, is that people have the feeling that if you make a lot of income, you get some free ride or something. The truth is they pay the highest percentage on the most income, and consequently pay the lion's share of the fed income tax.

And for that they are villified instead of respected. And I think that is a shitty attitude. That's all.
