Sig, it's not really a war, though it sounds really tough to call it a war. Politicians love to declare wars, even it's only on drugs, with the weapon of choice to "just say no".

It's a war similar to that of the conflict the British had with that evil piece of work, Gerry Adams and his murdering, knee-capping sub-human barbarians who murdered lots of people [children women included] at Omagh, for example.

Ironically, lots of Americans were gung ho for the IRA, sending them money and maybe more. The IRA were in cahoots with the Islamic arm of terrorism [working together is always a good idea].

Now the USA, with the Twin Towers being attacked and destroyed, has learned a little about what happens when people like Gerry Adams and Osama get support from gullible financiers.

I like to think that there were lots of IRA-supporting New York firemen killed at the Twin Towers. I know there were some Irish-American firemen involved and I hope the innocent ones escaped! It would be even better if the IRA supporting ones were the ones who had been looting during the fires. That would be poetic justice! Some of their money will have found its way to the "Real IRA" people who did the bombing at Omagh, or at the very least will have given them comfort, and support for related interests [such as the UnReal IRA].

It's an ill wind that blows nobody good. At least the gullible Americans have probably stopped shipping money to IRA terrorists, whether of the Real or UnReal variety.
