Two outcomes would have come from the meeting in Hew York: 1) High-percentage chance of successful defense --> return home, connect via Phoenix as planned and booked. 2) Low-percentage chance of successful defense --> connect (to somewhere safe) via a low-profile aiport with minimal security. Keep the San Diego connection open for late-breaking information, change of mind, or other unforeseen optional need? Is the international concourse security higher in NY than in Phx? Would it be easier to attempt getting through domestic concourse security in NY, then get outbound via Phx? Would a Latino ID help the aforementioned process in case 2? Is Islip easier than even bothering with JFK? Haven't been through MacArthur in Islip but I've been through Sky Harbor. Those are some "Occamic" questions I might ponder with my bookie.
