Since Bush is attacking and continues to attack and plunder (via Halliburton) the Muslim land of Iraq, the Saudi monarchy will be under a lot of pressure to not lower oil prices and go against OPEC in order to "keep the incumbent in office"

The Saudis have clearly indicated that they are powerful to the extent that they can influence the US Presidential elections no matter if it is Carter, Clinton or Bush. That is how I read Bandr Abbas' message.

He basically said "America in your face. YOu talk about foreign leaders supporting Kerry. We are the foreign leaders who have the capability and have always influenced who you elect as your President."
