OMDA Oil and Gas, Inc. Announces Change of Field Service Operator
MIAMI, Apr 21, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- OMDA Oil and Gas, Inc., an oil and gas production company (OTC.PK:OMOG), today announced that it has terminated its Operating Agreement with SHWJ Oil & Gas Company ("SHWJ"), a subsidiary of Wooldridge Production, both of which are controlled by Anthony Joseph Lanza.
As part of the Company's restructuring efforts that commenced in the third quarter of 2003, after systematically reevaluating the performance of SHWJ, their responsiveness to the Company's requests, and the value that SHWJ has brought to the Company and its stockholders over the past 12 months, the Company has decided to terminate its contract with SHWJ.
As of the effective date of the termination, April 16, 2004, SHWJ has been advised to cease all operations on the Company's leases, wells, and properties. The Company is in the process of interviewing replacement operators. Interim service operations will likely be handled by one of the Company's other operators.
