I'd take a moderate to liberal Republican like Nixon any day over these self indulgent neocon clowns in the White House today. Nixon came from a different era. Sure the U.S. had plenty of problems during Nixon's term, but Nixon and the Congress worked to correct those problems. Nixon is one of the main reasons why the environmental movement took hold. If it wasn't for his pro-environmental disposition, a lot of those laws probably would have never passed. That era of government being a positive force in society is long gone now. Now, it's screw the little guy any way they can. These people actually spend careers figuring ways to screw people. Which is exaclty why they're trying to dismantle the environmental laws that have done so much to clean up our environment over the past generation.
