Rock_nj . You said...." This whole war on Iraq was suppossed to make the region more stable, if this bombing is any indication, that policy has been misguided.".... I have always felt that this war with Iraq was to destabilize the entire area, to force the hand of islam. To force islam dictatorships into change. I can't believe that the mid east area could/would have been expected to become less violent. Aside from Turkey what other countries in the area have a working democracy? Oh yes Israel. The free world could sit by and let the world of islam become more powerful or confront them now. We need only look around the world to see the hand of islam at work. Better to confront them in their countries than in ours. Sept.11.
