ironic that new evidence of price inflation is hurting gold
the link between inflation expectations and gold price has been temporarily severed

inflation evidence has caused higher bond yields
which has helped lift the USDollar
which has hurt gold

I call it the "Dollar-Bond-Gold" triangle
the weak link is between gold and inflation measures
the strong link is between bonds and dollar
that is where the monster bond futures speculation occurs
