I'm sure the hawks in the Pentagon and the oil intereests who stand behind them would like nothing more than for the U.S. to be forced to take over Saudi Arabia. Then the U.S. would be in possession of the #1 and #2 biggest oil reserves in the world. The power would be overwhelming, not to mention the profit. It does seem like this Iraq policy is forcing the hand of Islam, I just hope it doesn't wind up getting out of control in the process.
