No, I am not dissing any war heros. I am correctly the man. He is the one dissing Kerry calling him "no hero" which is ridiculous of course. Did O'Neil win the Silver and Bronze star? Also, Kerry has made it clear he not only regrets some of his language in 1971, but that the reports were not aimed at troops but at the top brass which was covering this stuff up.

So what the hell is wrong with a war hero coming home to report that very bad stuff is happening over there? Not only was Kerry right, he helped saved many lives doing this. The rightwing deliberately distorts what Kerry was saying as if it was an insult to the troops in general. Also, atrocities were very real in Nam as we know from many accounts starting with Calley. In fact Kerry saw some of with his own eyes and his own boat crew mowed down some innocent people by mistake (not on his orders BTW).
Nam turned into a nightmare by 1970. Don't blame the messenger of the truth.
