hi all - we're back. it was so hard to leave this time. it gets harder with each visit. the weather was beautiful - we did a lot of work; spent a lot of happy hours at the legion watching hockey play offs and drinking beer; walked the beach a little bit and it's really not very nice to be back in the hustle the city although you can hardly call our little town a city. the islands put a spell on you. its hard to shake. having said that, the back yard here has exploded with new growth - the blooms are a riot of colour - the trees are in full leaf - grass desperately needs cutting (seems like i can only get #1 son to do so much and no more <g>). my desk has a very tall pile of unopened mail and unread newspapers which i forgot to cancel. oy! hope all's well with everyone. i notice the manipulation is in full swing re metals (what else is new, eh?) later guys, .... i've got a lot of catching up to do. hoser p.s. we almost bought a puppy - a 5 week old jack russell. i'm glad we didn't.
