I have researched my notes and want to correct a few things and make
some comments as well. In last Novembers annual meeting Gail said
they had 10mm ,which would be enough cash for two years which is
still 1 1/4 years left as it looks now although the analyst was probably
a little conservative. She also said the patient accrual would be
finished late 97 not the NDA filing. The patient tacking for 6 mo
afterwards then occurs and they would file for NDA about 3 months
afterward which would put it in third quarter of 98.Also they other
statement was that they are in "several discussions with potential
strategic partners" which I continue to hear there is lots of interest
from many companies wanting to see data and discuss alliances.
When we are critical we also need to be fair and accurate so we
may be constructive as well as helpful to all.From talking to others
I believe they are on track and Gail is cooridinating things as well
as can be expected. Dr. Carter I believe is going to be a strong force
that we will see soon. I certainly agree with the board comments
but Carter and Conklin are sure there although there is excess
baggage with a couple.
Im very familiar with the Harris,Garrison and Webb firm and
it is a very respected quality group of people and I believe this
analyst is going to be a good influence for everyone as soon as
this report is distributed.
