(Nasdaq: VSAT) has received a $2.16 million subcontract from Logicon to provide overall system engineering support, hardware and software development, and system integration for a NATO communications project. The NATO Improved Link Eleven (NILE) contract was awarded to Logicon by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in June. The Logicon award includes the NILE Reference System (NRS), a test system that ViaSat will develop jointly with Logicon under this contract.
