Today the market experienced an intra-day failure to the downside and finished near it's highs on a narrower spread on increased volume in a neutral position. Today, demand met supply throughout the day but was unable to take control.

The market was able to hold above the half way point and didn't reenter the downtrend from earlier this month. While this is positive it was only able to do so as a result of demand meeting supply throughout the entire day. Continued demand is necessary or a withdrawal of supply for the market to trade back to the highs earlier in the month. Since supply appears to still have control this will be no small task for the market to accomplish.
