Makesno difference in any event....all military service foreign or domestic is an honorable task..... I never challenged whether military service was honorable. I said that going into the Coast Guard [Academy???] would keep him out of Iraq. Last I heard the Coast Guard Academy was in CT and West Point was in NY, neither in the proximity of Iraq. The US has 135,000 boots on the ground in Iraq. The critical time for Iraq is NOW, not four years from now. Seems to me that if you support the Iraq theatre [it's been downgraded from the central front] your primary service should be in support of that conflict, not some academy. jttmab
