I agree with ORCL's position on the merger, although I'm not convinced that the merger itself is in ORCL's interest (at least at the current price and given how much effort it's taking). I find it a little ironic that the few customers that have heard that are supporting the DOJ are states -- if these states buy software anything like California, then they are probably still using Informix software on DEC/VAX machines and haven't figured out why their support calls don't get answered the way they used to... (The really inept agencies are still using custom software on Prime mainframes, but they've never heard of Oracle, so they don't care.)
