Jose: It may take 3 posts to respond: I've tried twice and I got disconnected. But it is important enough to get this said.
Son, you are WAY out of line.
Either you are very new to investing or just very new. I will assume the second.
What I shall write you should have already learned by reading a book or attending class before investing one cent. I'm bothered by how much attention in space and time this issue has received, and shocked that seasoned investors such as Met and Durro and others have even joined in.
First, I was VP of a small PUBLIC oil co for many years. My duties included shareholder and stockbroker relations, annual mtgs, annual reports, filing of all insider buys and sells, travel to do dog-and-pony speeches to investment firms, and, when interest rates went to 21% and the price of oil began to drop, I undertook a $3 million debt for equity swap: creditors who signed up recieved LETTERED stock. We did this to keep our cash for interest payments and the repair of major wells. This is to explain to you that I know exactly what I'm talking about: been there, done that. I'll continue in the next post, so I won't lose the connection again. |
