Anybody care to guess whether they'll make their number (which, according to Yahoo! is 29 cents on $8.66B: finance.yahoo.com )? My guess is they will meet expectations, or they would somehow have found a way to get the analysts to lower their estimates before now. If they were to miss, that fact would have repercussions for both the Dow and NASDAQ, since MSFT is an important component of both. The more interesting questions are whether they will just barely meet expectations or exceed them by a comfortable margin, and what the deferred account will show. JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
