That's why the interest rates were at 22+% under Jimminy L'Peanut Carter, which damn near killed the private farmers and Ag industry as a whole - and damn near shut down our defense industry. It was Reagan and the "MX+SDI" effort that wrecked the Russian economy, and removed them as the world's premiere nuclear threat. GDubya, on the other hand, is non-taxing us back into prosperity - which I know drives you goofy-arse spend-crazy Demoncrats clear around the bend. And, here's one that will really whiz you off; I worked on the MX projects twice - for BIG-$$$$. Life's tough in Dizzy City, Poopsy - especially when the 'right' people have the reins. John :-) .
