ADX is an indicator that tells you the strength of a trend...An ADX reading of 30 or more tells you that you have a strongly trending stock...Two other indicators that go along with the ADX family are the +D1 and -D1 indicators...If the +D1 indicator is above the -D1 indicator, it tells you the trend is up...Likewise if the -D1 is above the +D1 you have a downward trend...Regards, Mark P.S. IMHO, this is one of the best technical analysis trading indicators...
