Nope. Overall cost of ownership is the most important
thing. It all comes down to the total cash outlay.

Higher resale value doesn't mean squat if you paid $10k
more up front & only get for $2.5k more when you sell it
(all other things being equal of course). And if you paid
more for, parts, repairs, & fuel all along the way.....

I rest my case your honor.

Perception is reality..... regardless of the facts....
