I'm a daytrader - although your quote was a typo on my part, and I can't figure exactly how I made it ... I average $4,000 a month, although on good months I've made $8 or $9; My figures in that message don't add up at all... I think I must have been drunk at the time. Since June I've been making $1,500-$2,000 per week on average, but figuring back 12 months it's $4,000 a month. I've held positions as long as 8 weeks in my day trading account (WDC and APM) but generally I only hold for a few days or less. I've got a $25-$30 base and I'm almost always margined to at least $45 grand. Anyway, this has been my only job for 8 months ... and I get by okay.
